Spotted Moroney's alright. The owner is a bit of a character,
but responsible for the local forest tracks so a man to treat with
respect when you want to take 24 large motorbikes over the local
trails. The Glen of Aherlow was spectacular from the top and the
bottom.
@dbannon Yup, the
Moroney's are involved in the walking scene up there.
Every year we (amateur radio - we provide them with
communications on the side of the mountain..it has helped save alot
of people so far) go and help out with the Glen of Aherlow Walking
Festival.
I don't know how/where ye go, but yeah, the mountains are
beautiful. When you have good weather...you're blessed.

Good call! I have an idea to head up to Giants Causeway for the weekend.
Aherlow is beautiful. Find the Foot Bar and have a pint, or if not Moroney's in a small town (Lis-something) past Bansha.

BTW, coverage for O2 within the Glen of Aherlow is next to useless.
