I don't think the old client is going to work. The recompiled mobile client is for Series 60 5th edition but it needs your IMEI number in the compiled code to work.
My n95 is also refusing to go on the web so hadn't even got that far. Using browser on the blackberry instead. Am I out of characters yet? No, of course it doesn't matter :)
